New ashtanga yoga teacher

Sukko Spa is happy to welcome our new Astanga yoga teacher, Lisa Hill. Lisa began her career at N.U. (Chicago Yoga Center), with Suddha Weixler, who introduced her to the Astanga system 11 years ago. In addition, she took Tim Miller’s training & assisted Patrina Dobish at the premiere Iyengar studio, Yoga Circle.

Lisa’s teachers are Dena Wiseman & Lino Miele with whom she studied with in Australia and Bali. She visits India annually studying with Lino in Kovalam, as well as the A.Y.R.I. in Mysore.

In 2006-07, Lisa Hill ran the Mysore program at Tokyo-Yoga in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
Although she has taught at many health clubs & studios in chicago, Lisa’s main focus is teaching traditional Mysore style, where she ran the programs at Priya, Moksha & Yogaview.

Lisa enjoys teaching the traditional method of Astanga Yoga according to Sri. K. Patthabi Jois.

On the 27 of May 2008 Sukko Spa is happy to welcome Ms. Nishioka Sumiko and Ms. Miyaji Mao, two famed celebrities from Japan and their camera team to film a show starring Sukko’s spa treatments as part of a campaign to promote Phuket’s tourist attractions in Japan.

Sukko Spa hosted a ‘Tum Bun Tak Baat” ceremony on the 25th of May 2008 in which food and alms were given to more than a hundred Bhuddist monks for prosperity and luck to all assembled.

Sukko Spa is selected “The successful tourism business in terms of e–marketing” at the ‘E-marketing Day’ held by the Thai tourism ministry on the 23^rd of May 2008 at the

Royal Phuket City hotel. At the ‘E-marketing Day’ Mr Tithipong Kingkeao, Sukko spa’s System Development Director also gave a speech on the topic of “E-marketing case study” to help spread the experience on strategies used in e-marketing for those in the tourism industry.
